MARCH 18, 2019

Industry collaboration is the key to addressing big challenges faced by the logistics and maritime industry.

For far too many it will remain a buzzword, unless we take real action.

It is with this in mind that Rainmaking has designed the Trade & Transport Impact program to help corporate partners like Wärtsilä, Inmarsat and Cargotec find and engage great, disruptive start-ups to explore ways for improving efficiency, sustainability and safety across the industry.

Predictronics was selected from over 650 exciting technology providers world-wide as 1 of the 14 finalists that will convene in Hamburg this week to pursue collaborative initiatives for driving real impact and moving the needle in a notoriously conservative industry, said Erik Christian Lund, Managing Director, Trade & Transport Impact at Rainmaking Innovation.

Predictronics is excited for the opportunity to make a global difference in the shipping industry.

Our experience in the maritime industry and the transportation logistics industry makes us uniquely qualified to create impact through preventing system performance issues, avoiding fuel waste and averting critical failures in the handling and timely delivery of cargo, said Dr. Edzel Lapira, CEO at Predictronics.
