PREDICTRONICS CTO TO HOST TALK AT MAINTENANCE CON 2019

APRIL 12, 2019

Predictronics is pleased to announce our attendance at MaintenanceCon 2019 from April 15 – April 17 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.

After six successful years in Canada, uMaintenance has brought their annual reliability and maintenance conference to the U.S. for the first time.

Predictronics CTO Dr. David Siegel will be a featured speaker at the event with his talk, Reducing Downtime Using Advanced Analytics and Predictive Monitoring Technology – A Case Study with a Leading Wheel Manufacturer, on Wednesday, April 17th at 1pm.

Dr. Siegel will discuss the benefits of Industry 4.0 through the deployment of predictive monitoring technologies, including decreased machine downtime, increased productivity, and reduced scrap waste. In addition, he will delve into the steps for deploying a data-driven solution, as well as general industry trends in manufacturing digitization.

Dr. Siegel will also present the details of our joint case study with Maxion Wheels and explore the configuration of Predictronics’ predictive monitoring software at the Maxion Wheels manufacturing facilities. This very project recently won the 2019 Manufacturing Leadership Award for Artificial Intelligence and Analytics.

The purpose of MaintenanceCon is to provide a deeper understanding of maintenance strategies and solutions to improve equipment reliability for manufacturing companies and increase the efficiency of their operations.

Numerous other maintenance providers and consultants will also host their own workshops and showcase educational case studies, including representatives from Emerson, Arizona Public Service, CiM, Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company, Fluid Life, and more.
